BMW AC Compressor problems are not new and they are more common in the summers. Many BMW users complain that they are facing problems with the cooling system. Of course, there may be many reasons for the same and often the BMW AC Compressor is regarded the culprit.
There may be minor and major problems with your BMW AC Compressor. But whatever may be the problem you need to take immediate measures without neglecting the same. You should take your car to any expert mechanic and seek for professional help.
A minor defect in the compressor may give rise to problems like you can find that on the driver’s side cold air is blowing from the ac vents while the passenger vents are giving out warm or hot air. This may be due to a leak in the system. If this is the case you may assume that the whole system is broken and you need to go for the replacement.
However, before you take it for replacement you can try a quick check and find if you can fix the ac problem without spending some good amount of dollars. You need to make sure that you the dial of the center vent has been set for cold air and it is on blue dots. It is one of the reasons that the warm is coming from the passenger’s vent. You should also troubleshoot the AC belts to ensure that they are not loose or shredded.
